Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
AstroDasha is a Vedic astrology iOS app. This policy explains what the app uses and what leaves your iPhone.
What stays on your iPhone
To build your chart, the app asks for your name, birth date, birth time, and birth city. That information, your natal chart, dashas, saved chats, and a partner chart if you add one, are stored on the device. We do not run a login or an account server. Deleting the app, or deleting a chart inside the app, removes that local data.
What is sent off the device
- AI chat and readings. When you use Chat, Tarot, or the first chart brief, the app sends your question and the computed chart facts to Google Gemini so it can write a reply. Google’s processing is described in Google’s own privacy policy.
- Birth city lookup. The city you type is sent to Apple MapKit so the app can find coordinates and a time zone. The app does not use GPS to follow you.
- Purchases. Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Apple processes payment. We do not see your full card number.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules local alerts on your iPhone when a planet is about to change house. Those alerts are not sent through our server.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your birth details.
- We do not require a phone number.
- We do not copy your kundli to a spreadsheet or our own database.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. Do not enter a child’s birth details if you are not that child’s parent or guardian.
